Emerson names £200,000 per-week player as the most talented Chelsea teammate he's played with.

Emerson says old Chelsea teammate is the best talent he’s ever played with.

Former Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has claimed in a Twitter Q&A that Eden Hazard is the best player he’s ever played with.

The pair spent a number of seasons together at Stamford Bridge.

This time was arguably the peak of Hazard’s career, as he performed to a standard rarely seen before or since in the Premier League.

This obviously left a lasting impression on Emerson, who has named the Belgian the best footballer he has ever played alongside.

Emerson praises Hazard:

He said: “Has to be Eden Hazard. The stuff he used to do in training and on the pitch was just a joke.”

Emerson remains in the Premier League, and is enjoying far more starts in England with West Ham United.

Hazard meanwhile is still in the lull of his career that has been his time at Real Madrid. The brilliance Chelsea fans saw so regularly seems to have completely disappeared over in Spain.

Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has hardly featured him from the start in recent seasons, instead preferring the young talent of Vinicius Jr.

That faith has no doubt been restored in fairness, with the Brazilian striking the winning goal in last season’s Champions League final.

Rumours refuse to disappear every transfer window that the Belgian will eventually make his return to Stamford Bridge, however time feels like it has passed on what could have been a sensational spell back at the club he made his name at.

His final season for the club saw him put the team on his back under Maurizio Sarri.
