The Blues have made contact with Arsenal about a potential deal, with the Gunners believed to want in the region of £50m before allowing Balogun to leave.  Balogun enjoyed a breakthrough campaign while on loan at Stade Reims last season, netting 21 league goals to steer his side to a mid-table finish.
