Two Chelsea players who should be a source of concern to Graham Potter after Man U clash.

Two Chelsea players are now a source of concern for Graham Potter's Blues following their dip in form in successive run of games played.

Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella are two Chelsea stars whose recent performances should be a source of concern for Graham Potter. Both players were Thomas Tuchel's signings earlier this transfer window.

Raheem Sterling is now suffering a dip in form under Graham Potter despite a dizzying start to his Chelsea career.

The £47million summer signing from Manchester City is now enduring a barren patch in front of goal and it is beginning to show in his performances.

It coincides with a run where Chelsea are misfiring, failing to convert chances from open play against Manchester United in a 1-1 draw after a 0-0 away at Brentford in midweek.

Thomas Tuchel had pushed for Sterling as his No1 transfer target this summer, agreeing to make him Chelsea’s best-paid player on £300,000-a-week, giving him dressing room leader status and promising to play him in the forward line week in, week out.

However, with Tuchel now gone he is struggling under Potter, who has played him at wing back on three occasions with mixed results.

Against United on Saturday evening, he was largely anonymous in a front three with Mason Mount and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, both of whom outperformed him.

He failed to have a shot or create any chances over his 79 minutes on the pitch.

Marc Cucurella is another signing who has failed to impress under Graham Potter.

Brought in for the injured Kalidou Koulibaly, Cucurella lasted only 36 minutes at Stamford Bridge and has only completed one full Premier League game since Potter’s appointment. He was taken off in embarrassing circumstances and replaced by Kovacic.

Kovacic’s introduction did allow the home side a foothold but the game still descended into a chaotic ending.

Both players had fired under former Coach, Thomas Tuchel and their current form should definitely be a source of concern for Potter.

Former Chelsea Doctor, Eva Caneiro set to make dazzling return to football with new role in the 2022 World Cup revealed.

Remember Eva Caneiro? The former Chelsea Doctor? The Blues could be seeing her back in football action again, this time, in the World Cup.  One of the major incidents during Mourinho's second spell at Chelsea was the 'dismissal' of the club's Doctor, Eva Caneiro at the time.  Per GiveaMeSport, on the opening weekend of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign, Mourinho clashed with the then-Chelsea physio after she ran onto the pitch alongside colleague Jon Fearn to treat the injured Eden Hazard. Mourinho’s side were drawing 2-2 against Swansea City and the game had entered injury-time when the incident occurred. The revered Portuguese coach was furious with the medics, telling reporters afterwards: “I wasn’t happy with my medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench, you have to understand the game.” Mourinho felt that the medical intervention had affected his team’s chances of scoring a late winner and securing two more points.
