WATCH Thiago Silva nasty career-ending fall after collision vs RB Salzburg.

That fall from Thiago Silva was one that would have ended his career, but thankfully, it isn't bad as hoped.

Chelsea would have witnessed what would have been a disastrous end to Thiago Silva's career after a nasty fall in an attempt to clear a header against RB Salzburg.

The nasty incident which took place in the 83rd minute saw RB Salzburg's Simic lean into Thiago Silva as he rises to head clear, and creates an arc for the Brazilian to crash to the ground.

It's a really nasty landing for the 38-year-old, who - thankfully - looks nothing more than winded.

There were quite a few nervous onlookers holding their breath there.

The fall had gotten many Chelsea fans including Thiago Silva's wife, Belle Silva reacting to it.

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
