Raheem Sterling names the Chelsea player who 'tormented him the most' while at Manchester City.

Raheem Sterling has named a few Chelsea stars who are deserving of acknowledgement and who had caught his fancy even during his time at Manchester City.

Speaking ahead of the Blues' clash against Arsenal on Sunday, Sterling named Mateo Kovacic as the player he was looking forward to linking up with even while at the Etihad and one who tormented the Manchester City team each time both teams clashed:

'Kovacic to be fair (is who I was most looking forward to linking up with at the club),' he told BT Sport. 'When we used to play him for City I used to think "Oh my good gosh" - I'm not going to lie. " Sterling said per Daily Mail.

'Of course I always used to love to play with Mason (Mount) for England as well.

'Because he's just just a little busy one. He's just always getting on the ball. But yeah them two.

'Kova(cic) for sure because there was a couple of times (when I was at City) when he was doing some serious stuff against us.'

When asked by BT Sport the best trainer at Chelsea, Sterling responded “I would say Conor. I like the way Conor trains.”
