It is no longer news that Eden Hazard is not having the career he so desired at his dream club, Real Madrid. Since joining the Spanish outfit, the former Chelsea playmaker has been a shadow of himself, netting 7 goals in 72 appearances for Real Madrid.According to Spanish outlet Marca (via managingmadrid.com), Real have told their player it would be better for him to find a new club during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Ancelotti's side are definitely prepared to cut their losses and let go of Eden Hazard. The 31-year old has featured in just 3 La Liga games for Real Madrid, netting or assisting none.
Eden Hazard was no doubt a sensation at Chelsea, scoring goals and winning multiple awards and titles. With Aston Villa already one of the clubs Hazard has been linked with, a return to the Premier League may not be a bad idea for Hazard who dominated the League in his time.
Eden Hazard, though plagued by many injury concerns, still showed what he was capable of earlier this season. Against Celtic, he grabbed a goal and an assist and perhaps, a transfer this coming window could be enough to spark his career back to life.
