Vasco da Gama have confirmed the transfer of Andrey Santos to Chelsea. The youngster becomes the Blues' third signing this month after the club already completed deals for David Datro Fofana and Benoit Badiashile.

The Brazilian club announced in a statement on Friday: "Vasco da Gama agreed this Friday (01/06) the permanent transfer of the athlete Andrey Santos to European football. Born in the youth ranks of Gigante da Colina, the midfielder will defend the colors of Chelsea, from England, in the coming seasons."

The young star became Vasco da Gama's youngester player in the 21st century following in the footsteps of players such as Paulinho and Philippe Coutinho.

Reliable media personality, Fabrizio Romano also confirmed: 

"Official, confirmed. Andrey Santos has signed as new Chelsea player on long term contract from Vasco da Gama 🔵🇧🇷 #CFC

Understand Chelsea will pay €12.5m fee to Vasco for Brazilian talent born in 2004. He’s in London since last week."

Chelsea's fourth signing: 

Although the Blues have completed three signings already, they are not done yet and are still looking for a fourth. Per Felix Johnston, popular media personality close to the club, Chelsea have completed the signing of Enzo Fernández although multiple reports claim both clubs are still in conflict over the £120M price tag for the Argentina midfielder. 

If reports from Felix are true as claimed, then the Blues already have their fourth signing of the summer. 

The Blues are still monitoring Mykhaylo Mudryk's situation and per Reports from Fabrizio Romano, Mykhaylo Mudryk’s agent Alekhin on Arsenal and Chelsea: “Mudryk is a Shakhtar player and the decision on his transfer will be made by the board of the club”. 🚨🇺🇦 #AFC #CFC

“Mykhailo is now preparing to go with Shakhtar to the training camp”, tells Sport Arena.

Kanté's new contract details:

Per Daily Mail, N'Golo Kante is reportedly being close to agreeing a contract extension with Chelsea that will keep him at the club until 2026.

With his current contract set to expire in June, the 31-year-old has received interest from a number of clubs including Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian side that shocked the footballing world last month by signing Cristiano Ronaldo

Per Foot Mercato, Chelsea are awaiting a response from N'Golo Kante over his contract extension at Stamford Bridge with an agreement nearing. They have offered a base salary almost equivalent to his current one plus bonuses related to appearances. The deal could run to 2026.

N'Golo Kante has asked for a few days to reflect on the latest offer but wants to stay in London. Al Nassr are interested in signing the midfielder but he has not received an offer from the Saudi side yet.
