"I could sense it." Pundit reveals worrying signs he noticed from Chelsea players during Tottenham clash.

The Blues were tied to a 2-0 defeat by Spurs on Sunday afternoon.

Sport Pundit, Tim Sherwood reveals disturbing signs he noticed from Chelsea players in the second half playoff against Tottenham.

An injury in the first half saw Thiago Silva come off to be replaced by Wesley Fofana. Skipp converted the first goal of the afternoon and pundit, Sherwood reveals he noticed Chelsea lacked desire to fight for the badge, hence conceding another from Harry Kane:

"I thought the first ten minutes were very good, very confident,” the former Spurs boss told Premier League Productions (via Optus Sport).

“I [thought] this could be a very difficult afternoon [for Spurs].

“As soon as they went behind in the second half, that’s when you need people to stand up and show that you’re performing for the shirt, but I never saw that.

“I thought they lacked effort, they lacked a plan, and were just hoping that one of their world-class players [could] turn it around.

“Tottenham had more game plan, more structure, more willpower, and unfortunately it was a poor performance from Chelsea.

“I think you’re absolutely right, Glenn, [Chelsea] lacked that desire, and I could sense it here [in the stadium].”

True.

From the management down to the players, it seems the fighting spirit has departed from the Blues as they almost have nothing to play for. This is very much evident in their poor performance week in and out.

The Blues could be seeing her back in football action again, this time, in the World Cup.  One of the major incidents during Mourinho's second spell at Chelsea was the 'dismissal' of the club's Doctor, Eva Caneiro at the time.  Per GiveaMeSport, on the opening weekend of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign, Mourinho clashed with the then-Chelsea physio after she ran onto the pitch alongside colleague Jon Fearn to treat the injured Eden Hazard. Mourinho’s side were drawing 2-2 against Swansea City and the game had entered injury-time when the incident occurred. The revered Portuguese coach was furious with the medics, telling reporters afterwards: “I wasn’t happy with my medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench, you have to understand the game.” Mourinho felt that the medical intervention had affected his team’s chances of scoring a late winner and securing two more points.
