"I may return to Chelsea." — Former €80M Blues star reveals; opens door to potential Chelsea return.

The former Chelsea star does not rule out a potential return to the club in the nearest future.

Former Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham has revealed he could return to Stamford Bridge in the nearest future. The 25-year old had lost his place under Tuchel and had been sold in the summer of 2021.

In a recent interview with Four Four Two, the Roma attacker discussed the possibility of returning to Chelsea after his move to Roma in 2021.

“Chelsea? football never say never. Right now, my goal and my attention is focused on Roma: we want to finish the season strong,” said the English striker.

“I still haven’t started thinking about anything other than being here and doing my best. I’m not in a hurry. Maybe I’ll stay at Roma for the next ten years, or maybe not. You never know what’s around the corner,” added the 25-year-old.

“Mourinho? He is a legend. I love him. He’s what we call a real boss. He is a leader. When he speaks, you listen to him. He knows how to manage his men, he is one of the best in the world in this field.”

“He knows how to guide you, how to really get into your skin. Even if you’re doing a great job, he’ll still try to get you to do more.”

As part of the £34m deal which took Abraham to Roma, Chelsea are understood to have negotiated a buy-back clause which sits around the €80m (£70.3m) mark. Abraham has always in the past not ruled out a potential return to Chelsea as well.

In 2022, when Asked whether he would be interested in a return to Chelsea if they triggered the clause, Abraham told Ojora Babatunde: "My focus is to do exactly what I did last year here. I'm happy here, the team is good, the manager's good, the city, the fans... I'm happy. But you never know the future. Only God knows the future."

With Chelsea still desperately in need of a clinical striker, it remains to be seen if the Blues will trigger his release clause and get him back at the Bridge.

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
