Manchester City heavily interested in £190,000-per-week Chelsea star and could go all out to sign him.

Manchester City are genuinely interested in signing the Chelsea defender.

Per the Athletic, Manchester City are genuinely interested in signing Chelsea left-back, Ben Chilwell.

Since signing for the Blues, Ben Chilwell has been an important part of the Chelsea squad, although injuries have hindered him from being a large part of Chelsea's campaign this season, and last season. His return from injuries prove how integral he is to Chelsea's form as his impact is often felt.

Marc Cucurella had been signed as a backup for the England star. Although poor for a large part of the 2022/23 campaign, the Spaniard is slowly getting back to his best, bagging the MOTM award in Chelsea's recent display against Dortmund in the Champions League.

With Chelsea believed to be looking to offload players this summer, Manchester City believe Ben Chilwell is one of those players the Blues could offload, following Cucurella's signing.

Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell is said to be the subject of genuine transfer interest from Manchester City. Having been keen on the left-back before he joined the Blues for £50million in 2020, Pep Guardiola has renewed his and the club’s interest following the departure of Joao Cancelo in January, as the Athletic reports.

Although Chilwell is not the kind of player Chelsea could be looking to sell at the moment, a mouth-watering offer from the Citizens could land him at Manchester. Therefore, the Blues should do all they can to keep him, as he is very important to the club.
