World class £88M star responds to rumors he is joining Chelsea at the end of the season!

The Brilliant £88M star has responded to rumors he will be joining Chelsea at the end of the season.

Ac Milan star, and Chelsea target, Rafael Leao has responded to rumors he will be joining Chelsea at the end of the season.

Chelsea have long been linked with the Portuguese since last summer. His contract expires in 2024 and there have been talks rumored to be ongoing between him and the Serie A outfit. However, Leao continues to attract interest from several other clubs. One of such is Chelsea.

Leao had in the past expressed his desire to play in the Premier League but a new interview seems to raise the dust over his dreams of playing in England in the future.

‘I don’t like the weather there [in England],’ Leao said in an interview on YouTube. ‘I went shopping the first time I went to London.’

Speaking about Chelsea’s attempt to sign Leao last summer, AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini said: ‘Rafa knows that to become stronger than now the solution is to stay with us.

‘Chelsea’s officially written offer did not arrive but on an informal level it did. Of course, it was rejected.’

Leao has been one of AC Milan’s most important players over the past four seasons, registering 36 goals and 31 assists across 147 games for the club.

Per reports, Leao is believed to be worth over £100M, a fee which seems ridiculous for a player of his calibre. However, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will go all out to acquire his signature.

Mourinho’s side were drawing 2-2 against Swansea City and the game had entered injury-time when the incident occurred. The revered Portuguese coach was furious with the medics, telling reporters afterwards: “I wasn’t happy with my medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench, you have to understand the game.” Mourinho felt that the medical intervention had affected his team’s chances of scoring a late winner and securing two more points.
