Florent Malouda names ONE thing missing for Mykhailo Mudryk to come good for Chelsea.

The Chelsea Legend has named one thing Mykhailo Mudryk should do for him to come back to his best at Chelsea.

Chelsea Hero, Florent Malouda has named one thing Mykhailo Mudryk should do in order to come back to his best for the Blues.

Mudryk was one exciting prospect hijacked by the Blues from Arsenal in the just concluded transfer window. His debut had been promising against Liverpool with the Ukrainian registering the fastest Premier League player, covering a huge mile with inexplicable speed in just one game.

However, his start to life at the club has not been what was expected, moving on as he has registered only one assist in all games played. His recent performances have also been nothing short of unimpressive.

Former Chelsea winger, Malouda who won the Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League during his days at the Bridge has come out to back Mudryk, while naming the qualities he should build for him to succeed at Chelsea.

Malouda insists it's only self-confidence holding back the €100m signing.

He told ICE 36: "He is very talented. When he made his debut, he looked so impressive when he came on. I think he came into that game fresh, full of confidence and we could all see his huge potential.

"My message would be, you've chosen the challenge of playing for Chelsea, which is a massive club, but look at the example of Vinicius Junior. I think that is a good comparison to make and also the right example for him to follow."

"As a reference point, he should look at how he has developed. I think Mudryk can have the same impact for Chelsea as Vinicius has for Madrid." He continued.

"He needs to work hard, have the right mentality - he can become a leader in the Chelsea team if he shows the right ambition. I hope he believes in himself as much as the club believes in him."

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
