Julian Nagelsmann explains TWO shocking reasons why he pulled out of the race for the Chelsea Managerial job.

The Blues had been in contact with Nagelsmann as favorite to land the Chelsea job, but surprisingly pulled out of the race on Friday evening.
Julian Nagelsmann has spoken out for the first time after pulling out of the race to become the next Chelsea manager.

The former Bayern boss had been among the top candidates to fill the void left by Graham Potter's dismissal before his withdrawal from proceedings on Friday - a decision which left Chelsea surprised. The report from reliable media personality Fabrizio Romano read:

Understand Julian Nagelsmann has now withdrawn from the race to become the new Chelsea head coach 🔴🇩🇪

◉ It looks like final, permanent decision by Nagelsmann.
◉ The German coach is said to be no longer available after multiple round of talks with Chelsea board — he was a top candidate for the job.

ℹ️ Chelsea will 100% have new coach for the next season — Luis Enrique is OUT of the race, Mauricio Pochettino is IN the list as reported yesterday.

While Chelsea had long insisted that there was no leading candidate in their lengthy search for a new manager, sources saw Nagelsmann as the favourite to take the role and Luis Enrique is understood to have seen the German as Chelsea's top priority.

Asked about his decision by Sky Germany, Nagelsmann did not deny pulling out of talks but sought to clarify the terminology used.

"To cancel something, you have to commit to something," Nagelsmann said.

This report seems to suggest the German is committed to a different cause, other than the Chelsea job.

Per other reports,

Nagelsmann felt there were fundamental, structural, recruitment and process decisions at Chelsea that don't best serve his approach. (@SkySportsNews).

Moving on, Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as the favorite candidate to land the job, with Luis Enrique also reportedly out of the Managerial race.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
