"I will not leave Chelsea " — £40M rated Chelsea star wants to work under Pochettino.

The Chelsea star really wants to play under Mauricio Pochettino.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher is keen on staying at Stamford Bridge this season and is willing to work under Pochettino amid interest from Newcastle United.

Newcastle want to sign Gallagher from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

However, according to the report, the midfielder wants to stay at the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner and “may have cooled on a potential move” to the Magpies.

Mauricio Pochettino is the new manager of Chelsea, and the Argentine gave chances to home-grown players when he was the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur.

Gallagher has reportedly been encouraged by that. However, the 23-year-old England international midfielder may not get his wish.

On May 28, talkSPORT reported that Chelsea hierarchy want to sell the youngster in the summer of 2023 because they have not been convinced by him.

The Chelsea bosses do not think that Gallagher has done enough to have a long-term future at the Blues.

The report claimed that Chelsea want £40 million in transfer fees for Gallagher, adding that Newcastle United, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are interested in him.

If the Chelsea bosses want Conor Gallagher to leave, then they will find a way to offload him.

Now, of course, Gallagher may want to stay, but if Chelsea want to use other players ahead of him or sign more midfielders in the summer transfer window, then it would be hard for the youngster to get into the team.

We believe that if Chelsea really want to get rid of Gallagher, then the midfielder should just leave and find a new club.

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
