"Ronaldinho 2.0." - Mauricio Pochettino could sign the next Ronaldinho for Chelsea as Todd Boehly enter secret talks.

Mauricio Pochettino could sign the next Ronaldinho for Chelsea.

Per multiple reports, Chelsea have begun concrete talks to sign Neymar Jr from PSG this summer.

Dubbed the next Ronaldinho, Neymar spent four incredibly successful years in Catalonia before making a world record move to Paris in 2017. He has since shone for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring 118 times in 173 matches. At 31 and with injury issues and uncertainty over what is to come at the Parc des Princes, Neymar has once more been linked with a move away. The club's reportedly on the radar to sign him include Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea. However, Barcelona boss Xavi has denied wanting anything to do with the 31-year-old at the club:

"I really like Ney as a friend, but we have different priorities," Xavi continued. With Barcelona out of the way it could open the door to Chelsea and ambitious owner Todd Boehly once more. Even without Champions League football, Boehly is keen to add a superstar name to his squad and was reportedly also dreaming of making Messi that man.

With him out of the way, Neymar is left in an uncertain position. There is history between the two parties, as well, with Boehly reportedly meeting with PSG chiefs earlier this year in order to discuss Neymar and the possibility of signing him. It is also believed that there is existing Premier League interest in the player from unnamed clubs.

His future may well depend on Manchester City's own transfer decisions as a triangle of business emerges. It is said that PSG have their eyes on Bernardo Silva this summer and Barcelona are unable to match them having also been hopeful of securing the Portugal star.

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
