"I will not leave Chelsea." £22M star refuses to leave Chelsea despite club asking him to leave.

Chelsea have now told £22m player they'll be accepting bids for him, but he doesn't want to leave.

Chelsea have now told Trevoh Chalobah that bids for him will be accepted between now and transfer deadline day next Friday.

That is according to Matt Law of the Telegraph – who was speaking on the London Is Blue podcast.

So, what is the latest on Trevoh Chalobah at Chelsea? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well, Chelsea have apparently told the 24-year-old that they will now accept any offers for him which meet their valuation.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Blues would take £22m for Chalobah after another summer of heavy spending.

However, the Chelsea No.14 does not want to leave Stamford Bridge, and plans to fight for his place under Mauricio Pochettino.

Chalobah has not even been named on the bench by the Argentine in either of Chelsea’s first two Premier League games of the 2023/24 campaign.

Pochettino has shoved the Freetown-born defender further down the pecking order by signing Axel Disasi this summer, while also promoting Levi Colwill above his fellow academy graduate.

In our view, Chalobah should cooperate with Chelsea and look to depart Stamford Bridge.

We admire the England Under-21 international’s desire to stay and fight for his future at Chelsea, although he is too talented to be a mere backup option.

The likes of Inter Milan and West Ham have been linked with a move for Chalobah this summer, both of whom can offer him European football, and also the chance to put himself in Gareth Southgate’s thinking for EURO 2024 next summer.

Surely, being a regular starter for one of those two sides would be more attractive than fighting against the likes of Colwill, Disasi, Thiago Silva, Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana for a place under Pochettino.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as it remains to be seen if Chelsea – or Chalobah – end up getting their way.

CONFIRMED: Todd Boehly finally decides on FIVE players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Todd Boehly has decided he will offload five Chelsea players.  Since taking over as Co-owner of Chelsea, it has not clicked for Todd Boehly despite splashing the cash to sign some of the big names in world football.  Consecutive run of losses and sloppy display from players are two core reasons the Blues will be considering a squad overhaul this summer, and five players will be offloaded. According to a report from the Spanish publication SPORT, it is claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being lined up for sale which could raise a whopping £129 million. If the market values of the players in question are met, it would provide the incoming Chelsea manager with a hefty transfer chest to spend and bring in a couple of new faces to bolster the squad over the summer.
