Chelsea 1—1 Newcastle | Nicolas Jackson goal | All goals and extended highlights | HD

The Blues continued their pre-season preparations in the United States against one of the top-flight’s biggest new threats in the Premier League Summer Series. Mauricio Pochettino kicked off his spell in charge with entertaining wins over Wrexham and Brighton across the Atlantic, but he had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Newcastle. Nicolas Jackson impressed in attack once again, scoring for the second game running as he looks a serious threat with less than two weeks to go until the new league season begins against Liverpool. No goals in the second half as Atlanta hero Miguel Almiron’s well-taken effort on the stroke of half-time earns Newcastle a draw following a second goal in as many games early on from new Chelsea signing Nicolas Jackson. Plenty there for both managers to be happy with and plenty to work on with the new Premier League season approaching fast on the horizon. Chelsea move on to face west London rivals Fulham in Landover on Sunday evening, while Newcastle play Brig

FT: Chelsea 4—3 Brighton | All goals and extended highlights

The Blues were back in action again following their 5-0 win against Wrexham, and this time it was their first game of the PL Pre-season series.  In case you missed the game, not to worry, we got you covered.  Chelsea opted for a much stronger (at least on paper) lineup in this one, and we made a pretty solid start indeed. So of course it were Brighton who scored first, pretty much against the run of play, from a corner thanks to some rather inattentive defending in the center of the box. Danny Welbeck seems to find the net against us rather often, and so he did again. Chelsea responded quickly as Christopher Nkunku took advantage of a lucky deflection to scramble home the equalizer a few minutes later. That’s two in two preseason games for Nkunku. Both sides could’ve added to the scoreline before the half-time whistle, but lacked the requisite quality in play to do so. The second half began much the same way as the first ended, but then Brighton full back Jean Paul van Hecke picked up

"I want to remain in Chelsea." £36M Chelsea man turns down loan offer from three Premier League clubs.

The Chelsea star has reportedly turned down offers from Newcastle United, West Ham United and Southampton.  Armando Broja is reportedly keen to remain at Chelsea for their first campaign under Mauricio Pochettino. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the academy graduate would not feature in the club's pre-season tour of the United States, a period which includes five friendlies. From the outside, the decision came as a blow to Broja who is currently attempting to get back up to speed after being sidelined since December with a serious knee injury. The Albania international will continue to try to build up his fitness at the club's training facilities and potentially in games with the Under-21s. Nevertheless, at a time when the club may still be in the market for another central forward, it has become apparent that the 21-year-old is down the pecking order ahead of the new campaign. That scenario has allegedly resulted in glances from West Ham United, who were interested in

"He will not join us for pre-season." Mauricio Pochettino confirms £325,000-per-week Chelsea star will not be going for pre-season.

The Chelsea star will not travel on Chelsea pre-season tour as Juventus lead transfer race.  Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku will not be travelling on their pre-season tour in the United States, talkSPORT understands. Lukaku enters the summer off the back of his season-long loan at Inter Milan from the Blues. His most recent appearance for the Blues came in May 2022. All signs seemed to point to a permanent switch back to the Champions League finalists ahead of the new campaign. However, after discovering that advisors working on behalf of Lukaku had secret talks with Juventus, Inter have pulled out of the race. The Turin side are now frontrunners to sign the striker, who is keen to leave Chelsea this summer. His future is now in limbo having turned down a move to Saudi Arabia and Juventus needing to sell Dusan Vlahovic to finance a move. Lukaku's current club Chelsea travel to the USA on Monday for their pre-season tour, but he won't be joining them. He looks set to leave just t

Tottenham Hotspur offer Harry Kane in swap deal for exceptional Chelsea star.

In a recent report, The Evening Standard stated that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a keen eye on Chelsea defender Levi Colwill this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are hoping to land the English centre-back in this ongoing transfer window. Colwill had a decent loan spell at Brighton last season when he managed to put in a few solid displays at the heart of their backline. The 20-year-old made 22 appearances for the Seagulls in the previous campaign, picking up a couple of assists in all competitions. The English talent caught the eye at times on the defensive third of the field as he averaged 0.5 tackles, 0.9 interceptions and 2.2 clearances per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He was even excellent when distributing the ball from the back after completing 88.6% of his attempted passes in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored). His current deal at his parent club Chelsea will run out in the summer of 2025. Therefore, Spurs would do well to lure him to North Lo

A £110,000-per-week star is putting pressure on Mauricio Pochettino to hand him regular action despite facing stiff competition for a starting berth. Chelsea star Thiago Silva will be pushing Mauricio Pochettino to hand him regular game-time after facing increased competition for places at Stamford Bridge, journalist Ben Jacobs reports, per  GIVEMESPORT. The Blues, who will have Levi Colwill among their centre-back options after his return from a loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion, are seeking a huge improvement in the upcoming campaign after missing out on European qualification last season. In an interview with Sky Sports, via MailOnline, Silva revealed that he has been holding discussions with Roma creative midfielder Paulo Dybala about potentially joining him at Chelsea. The Brazil international admitted, at the British Grand Prix, that he hopes his fellow South American will link up with him in west London as the Blues mull over whether to activate the £10.6million release c

"I want to join Chelsea!" Incredible 21-year-old desperate for Stamford Bridge move with the Blues set to reach agreement for him.

The incredible 21-year old wants to join Chelsea.  Chelsea have nearly agreed a deal with Brighton for the transfer of Moises Caicedo this summer. That is according to journalist Rudy Galetti. After weeks of speculation, Moises Caicedo may be on the verge of joining Chelsea and securing a high-profile switch to Stamford Bridge. Journalist Simon Phillips claimed on his Substack back in May that Caicedo was emerging as Chelsea’s main target in the midfield this summer. So, could the Blues be about to land their 21-year-old priority? Galetti reported on Twitter yesterday that Chelsea and Brighton are going into the “final stage” of negotiations for the Caicedo deal. It is understood the Premier League rivals have agreed a £75million transfer sum, but they still need to reach an agreement for potential add-ons. He adds that the Ecuador international is pushing hard to secure a move to the Bridge this summer. “Moises Caicedo, the talks between Chelsea and Brighton are entering in the final
