Emerson names £200,000 per-week player as the most talented Chelsea teammate he's played with.

Emerson says old Chelsea teammate is the best talent he’s ever played with. Former Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has claimed in a Twitter Q&A that Eden Hazard is the best player he’s ever played with. The pair spent a number of seasons together at Stamford Bridge. This time was arguably the peak of Hazard’s career, as he performed to a standard rarely seen before or since in the Premier League. This obviously left a lasting impression on Emerson, who has named the Belgian the best footballer he has ever played alongside. Emerson praises Hazard: He said: “Has to be Eden Hazard. The stuff he used to do in training and on the pitch was just a joke.” Emerson remains in the Premier League, and is enjoying far more starts in England with West Ham United. Hazard meanwhile is still in the lull of his career that has been his time at Real Madrid. The brilliance Chelsea fans saw so regularly seems to have completely disappeared over in Spain. Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has ha

Injured Chelsea duo sent to Dubai to speed up recovery for World Cup.

The injured duo will speed up their recovery as confirmed by the club's official website.  Chelsea have confirmed Wesley Fofana and Reece James will fly to Dubai to continue their rehabilitation following knee injuries. Fofana and James are both set to miss the World Cup and are now preparing for a return in December when Chelsea’s Premier League season gets back underway. Both picked up knee injuries against AC Milan. Fofana was forced off in the home win, while James was injured at the San Siro earlier this month. James is pushing to be fit for the World Cup but his chances are slim, but he hasn’t given up hope yet. Now the club have confirmed the pair will be joined by a member of the medical team in Dubai as they continue their rehab. A club statement read: “Reece James and Wesley Fofana will continue their rehabilitation programmes this week in Dubai. "A member of the Chelsea medical department will accompany them.”

Barcelona set to hijack Chelsea move for £43M-rated Eredivisie midfielder.

Barcelona are set to hijack Chelsea's move for the Eredivisie midfielder.  Barcelona are reportedly set to rival Chelsea for the signature of Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez. The 23-year-old was subject to late interest in the summer window from the West Londoners, who allegedly failed with a £43m offer. Alvarez briefly refused to train with Ajax, who decided to block the Mexico international from moving to Stamford Bridge, and head coach Alfred Schreuder has since revealed that the midfielder was keen to sign for the Premier League club. Speaking to ESPN last month, Schreuder said: "Chelsea reported themselves for Edson Alvarez on the final day and Alvarez wanted this. "For one day he was feeling very down by yesterday he told me: 'Coach, I am here and I will give 100% again'." Chelsea are thought to be keeping tabs on Alvarez's situation at Ajax and one report claims that they are preparing to reignite their interest when they January transfer window ope

Chelsea set to battle Newcastle for £25M rated Premier League winger.

The Blues are set to battle Newcastle for the winger.  Newcastle are reported to have entered the battle to add Leandro Trossard. Brighton’s former sporting director, Dan Ashworth, currently plying his trade for the Magpies, is keeping close tabs on Belgium international’s deal situation on the south coast and is keen to bring him to St. James’ Park on a bargain deal. Trossard.  Trossard joined the Seagulls in 2019, the exact summer in which now-Chelsea coach Graham Potter was hired as a manager at the south coast outfit. Leandro has since turned out to be one of the club’s standout footballers in recent campaigns, having racked up 36 goal contributions in 113 matches. The 27-year-old attacker enjoyed his best output to date last campaign, finding the back of the net eight times in 35 games. The Belgian forward also seems ready to be included in Roberto Martinez’s squad for the winter World Cup. However, the Belgian’s current contract at Amex expires at the end of the campaign. The Se

SPOTTED: Thiago Silva saves Kepa, makes two goal line clearances in one minute.

SPOTTED: Thiago Silva saves Kepa, makes two goal line clearances in one minute! Thiago Silva saved what would have been a goal for Brighton in the second minute against Chelsea. This of course is not the first time the veteran had made goal line clearances in critical goalkeeping situations.  This comes just after another goal-saving clearance against RB Salzburg in the Champions League earlier this week. The Brazilian had cleared what would have been an equalizer for the Austrian side, but a quick intervention from him had saved the Blues after Kepa missed a cross.  Thiago was back at it again today, this time against Brighton. In just one minute, Thiago Silva prevented two goal attempts while filling in for Kepa Arrizabalaga.  Kepa nowhere to be found: Thiago Silva runs in: Thiago Silva saves the day:  With his goal-saving clearance today, he has now become the first ever Player To Make 3 Goal Line Clearances In Two Games. Since His Chelsea Debut In 2020, No Player In Football Has Ma

"I take responsibility" Graham Potter names two key areas where he went wrong vs Brighton.

Graham Potter has named two key  mistakes he made after his return to Brighton ended in a humiliating 4-1 defeat for Chelsea.  Chelsea boss, Graham Potter has blamed his tactics while taking responsibility for Chelsea's defeat. While Potter said he had no reason to apologise after Brighton’s fans gave him a hostile reception at the Amex Stadium, he said his decision to use Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic as wing-backs had backfired. Chelsea were 3-0 down at half-time and Brighton, who targeted Pulisic and Sterling, could celebrate their first win under Roberto De Zerbi. “The responsibility for those two wasn’t to defend against their wing-backs, but I understand that whenever you do something and it doesn’t work you look a bit of a fool,” said Potter, whose nine-match unbeaten run at Chelsea is over. “That is how it is. I have to accept that, deal with that, do better, and I’ll learn. That’s the process.” The game was played in a hot atmosphere. Brighton’s fans booed Marc Cu

Kepa Arrizabalaga makes Spain World cup squad with Manchester United star left out.

It appears Kepa Arrizabalaga's hardwork and top performance for the Blues have paid off as the 28-year old has been included in the 55-man preliminary World cup squad for Spain, with Manchester United star left out.  Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been included in Spain's 55-man preliminary World Cup squad for the World Cup.  This comes after an excellent run of form by the 28-year old under Graham Potter. The Spaniard has started every game under Potter keeping five clean sheets while producing some top-class saves in the process.  According to AS, The 28-year-old is now set to be rewarded for his impressive stint in between the sticks for Chelsea with a spot in Spain's 55-man preliminary World Cup squad. Luis Enrique has reportedly sent off a squad of 55 players, of which his final 26-man squad will be selected from, that consists of five players in each position with Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea missing out entirely. Brentford's David Raya and

"I want to join Chelsea!" Gifted £12m midfielder publicly declares Chelsea interest.

The midfielder has publicly confirmed his desire to join Chelsea.  Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan insists he is still intent on joining Chelsea after his move fell through in the summer. Zakharyan is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in world football and the 19-year-old was on the verge of being signed by Chelsea in August. Chelsea were willing to pay his €15m (£12.6m) release clause, however, the deal collapsed due to FIFA and UEFA restrictions on signing Russian players. Chelsea have retained their interest ahead of the January transfer window and Zakharyan is adamant that he still wants to make the move to Stamford Bridge. Zakharyan (middle). Image via talkSPORT ‘My agents and my club have told me that a request has come from Chelsea. I have directly said my position is that I want to join Chelsea,’ Zakharyan told Russia’s Comment Show. ‘I know that there is a good competition in my position with Mount, Havertz, Gallagher, so I don’t mind going on loan to adapt t

"They made my job at Chelsea easier." — Graham Potter hails two Chelsea stars.

Chelsea boss, Graham Potter has named two star players as key to Chelsea's goal-scoring form, which in turn makes his job as Chelsea coach easier.  Graham Potter says his life as Chelsea boss is made easy when his players can score the quality of goals that earned a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League. Stunning goals from Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz sealed a 2-1 win at RB Salzburg in testing conditions and booking a last-16 spot. Kovacic found the top corner with a first-time effort in the first half and after Junior Adamu had levelled for the Austrians, Havertz won the game in fine style by curling a sublime shot in off the post. “It is amazing, top corner, it makes my job a lot easier when they can do that,” Potter told BT Sport. “Great for Kai, I’m really pleased, he has been fighting and trying his best, so today to score that and help us win, fantastic.” The goals were worthy of the win and Potter was pleased to see his side stop a 40-game unbeaten home reco

Chelsea reject offer from Bayern Munich for 23-year old attacker.

Report: Chelsea Turned Down Bayern Munich Approach For Kai Havertz. Chelsea have been reported to turn down approaches for German forward Kai Havertz in the summer from German giants Bayern Munich. After the loss of Robert Lewandowski, Bayern shopped around for a replacement, but Chelsea did not want to sell the player. Havertz Chelsea career is still currently up in the air, and there is still possibilities for the player to leave in January or even next summer, Chelsea turned down approaches in the summer when Thomas Tuchel was still in charge. The German showed his class against Salzburg with the winning goal, but didn't even start the weekend before against Manchester United..Bayern Munich are likely to try again for Havertz, with their only true striking option at the moment being Chupo-Moting, or playing Sadio Mane through the middle. Chelsea may be more willing to do business on Havertz now. A rejection for Bayern Munich in the summer, but certainly a deal that could happen

£150,000-a-week Chelsea midfielder told why he may not travel for the World Cup amid Thomas Tuchel claim.

The Chelsea midfielder has been told he may not travel for the World Cup. Former West Ham United Manager, Stuart Pearce does not see Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek going to the World Cup after Thomas Tuchel claim. Speaking to Talksport Radio (per Football.London), the former England defender does not see Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek going to the World Cup with England. Pearce is still waiting for the 26-year-old’s best years to come, and he wants more goals and assists from the player who generally plays in the central or attacking midfield position. Loftus-Cheek has been in decent form this season without really doing anything extraordinary. He has been consistent with his performances and filled up a big hole in midfield with the injury to N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic not being able to start every game due to niggles. Talking about the 26-year-old’s meek chances of making it in the England squad, here’s Pearce (per Football.London): “I think, all things being equal

SPOTTED: Thiago Silva bails Kepa from tight spot with brilliant goal-saving clearance against RB Salzburg.  IMAGE CREDIT: Blues Live  Thiago Silva is one Chelsea player who is worthy of all the hype he gets. At 38, he doesn't only defend excellently, he reads the game effectively.  The Blues were back in Champions League action against RB Salzburg on Tuesday night. Goals from Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz had sealed the victory for the Blues over a relentless Salzburg side, but Thiago Silva played his own role to prevent the Austrian outfit from scoring an equalizer against Chelsea in the 69th minute.  Salzburg man, Pavlovic won a header in Chelsea's box in the 69th minute after Kepa's mistake. The Salzburg defender thought he would equalise but the Brazilian had other ideas. Thiago Silva brilliantly cleared Kepa's mistake in a way that makes one just wonder what stuff on earth the man was built with! Kepa fails to save a cross: Thiago Silva runs ahead of him to clear

Chelsea have found their next Eden Hazard in 18-year old Omari Hutchinson.

Chelsea have 'the NEXT Eden Hazard' in Omari Hutchinson - with the 18-year-old ex-Arsenal starlet possessing 'close dribbling and explosive pace' like the Blues legend. •Hutchinson has been in tremendous form for Chelsea's U21 side in recent weeks. The winger joined the Blues from rivals Arsenal for an undisclosed fee in July. He's recorded 11 goal contributions across 13 games in all competitions. There have been calls for Graham Potter to give the starlet a first-team chance . Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson has drawn some of the highest praise imaginable in west London side after being compared to club legend Eden Hazard. The winger only joined the Blues in July - after leaving Arsenal for an undisclosed fee - but has already made an impact on the side after his impressive performances for the Under 21 team.  High expectations are already being built for the 18-year-old, who's been touted for a first-team debut in the near future, given his likeness t

WATCH Thiago Silva nasty career-ending fall after collision vs RB Salzburg.

That fall from Thiago Silva was one that would have ended his career, but thankfully, it isn't bad as hoped.  Chelsea would have witnessed what would have been a disastrous end to Thiago Silva's career after a nasty fall in an attempt to clear a header against RB Salzburg.  The nasty incident which took place in the 83rd minute saw RB Salzburg's Simic lean into Thiago Silva as he rises to head clear, and creates an arc for the Brazilian to crash to the ground. It's a really nasty landing for the 38-year-old, who - thankfully - looks nothing more than winded. There were quite a few nervous onlookers holding their breath there. The fall had gotten many Chelsea fans including Thiago Silva's wife, Belle Silva reacting to it.  You can watch the video here: Is it a soccer game or MMA?? Thank God for this deliverance🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/T2wehseSDJ — Belle Silva (@bellesilva) October 26, 2022 Reactions after the fall have also flooded social media with some big Chelsea nam

WATCH Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz score beautiful goals to seal Chelsea victory over RB Salzburg.

MATCH REPORT: RB Salzburg 1-2 Chelsea: Goals from Mateo Kovacic in the first half and Kai Havertz in the second.  The Blues returned to Champions League action after a draw last week against the Red Devils and were looking to seal their spot in the Champions League round of 16.  The result, a 2-1 win, is enough to book our passage from Group E with a game to spare although we were made to work hard for the victory by a gallant Salzburg side. Goals in either half from Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz were enough to see us past Salazburg, who had levelled shortly after half-time through Junior Adamu. In truth, both sides could have scored more but each goalkeeper – Kepa Arrizabalaga and in particular Philipp Kohn – both produced a number of impressive stops. Both Chelsea goals were strikes right out of the top drawer. Kovacic, born 75 miles east to Salzburg in Linz, found the top corner with an instinctive left-footed drive that left Kohn with no chance to get us up and running. While Adamu

Potter is unbeaten in his first eight games in all competitions as Chelsea boss as their defensive solidity has returned but finishing off chances remains a big issue. Chelsea set to hold new long-term contract talks with super-talented 26- year old midfielder.

Per Simon Philips, the £150,000-per-week midfielder is set to hold contract talks with Chelsea. Chelsea are set to enter talks with midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek over a new contract, according to journalist Simon Phillips. The 26-year-old has been a regular for the west London club this season, and Phillips says both parties now want to discuss an extension. Loftus-Cheek has been ever-present in the English top flight this term. Out of the 11 appearances he has made so far, nine of those have been starts, showing that he has been an important player for Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel before his dismissal last month. It is something new for Loftus-Cheek, who has often been a bit-part player at Stamford Bridge. Last season, he only made 13 starts in the Premier League, while the campaign prior, he was sent out on loan to Fulham. Things have now changed for him, though, and with N'Golo Kante set for a long spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on his hamstring injury, you

Salzburg Head coach Matthias fires "frightening" warning to Chelsea ahead of Salzburg clash.

The Salzburg coach has warned that his side will frighten Chelsea.  Red Bull Salzburg head coach Matthias Jaissle wants his underdogs to “frighten the great Chelsea” during Tuesday evening’s Champions League clash. The Premier League club can secure progression to the knockout stages with victory at a sold-out Red Bull Arena. Yet Blues boss Graham Potter knows all about the dangers of the Austrian champions, having been held to a 1-1 draw by them in the first match of his Stamford Bridge tenure. Yet Blues boss Graham Potter is aware of all concerning the risks of the Austrian champions, having been held to a 1-1 draw by them within the first match of his Stamford Bridge tenure. Unbeaten Salzburg sit only a level behind Chelsea within the Group E standings with two rounds remaining, and Jaissle had urged his gamers to be “brave and bold” as they search to proceed exceeding expectations. “We don’t feel any pressure, we are just looking forward to the match,” the 34-year-old German infor

Chelsea to offer Hakim Ziyech to Juventus in swap deal for £113,000 per-week midfielder.

The Blues are lining up a January transfer for Manchester United target, Adrien Rabiot and may offer Hakim Ziyech to Juventus in swap deal, per The Sun.  CHELSEA are set to make a winter swoop for Adrien Rabiot in order to beef up their midfield, it's been claimed. The Juventus ace was on the verge of joining Manchester United in the summer after the two clubs agreed a fee for the midfielder. The Red Devils, however, pulled out of a deal for the 27-year-old due to his sky-high wage demands. But Rabiot's reported contract demands have reportedly not put off new Chelsea boss Graham Potter. Calciomercato claim the west Londoners are weighing up bringing the former Paris Saint-Germain man to Stamford Bridge in January. And it's claimed they could be rivalled for the France international's signature by their Premier League rivals Newcastle. Potter is said to be willing to offer winger Hakim Ziyech to Juve in order to land his man. The Old Lady could very well accept the play

"One of the best teams!" — Erik Ten Hag gives honest verdict on Chelsea after Manchester United draw.

The  Manchester United boss has given his honest opinion on Chelsea while lauding his side's performance over 'one of the best teams ' in the Premier League.  Erik ten Hag was proud of his team's ability to fight back as Manchester United salvaged a dramatic 1-1 draw with Chelsea in stoppage time at Stamford Bridge. A 93rd-minute header by Casemiro was enough to cancel out Jorginho's late penalty, ensuring the Red Devils take a point back to Old Trafford. This leaves Ten Hag's men fifth in the Premier League table, but still just a point behind Chelsea in fourth.   In a post match briefing via Football.London, Erik Ten Hag lauded his team for their performance, while describing Chelsea as one of the best teams in the Premier League: "That was a good part. It's part of our philosophy to dominate games like this and especially when you can do it against a team like Chelsea, one of the best teams in the Premier League. It gives a good feeling."  &quo

"Since I arrived, they keep getting better and better." — Potter hails two Chelsea stars after United draw.

Potter has hailed two Chelsea stars who were crucial to our 1-1 draw against United on Saturday evening. The Blues were back in Premier League action again after a goalless draw at Gtech Community stadium against Brentford and were looking to secure all three points against the Red Devils.  A foul on Armando Broja saw a penalty awarded to the Blues which Jorginho converted to secure the opener for the Blues. Late into stoppage time, Casemiro secured the equalizer for the Devils and ended what would have been a win for Chelsea.  Before the twist of events before the final results, two Chelsea players had been impressive and have been lauded by head coach, Graham Potter. Those players are Kepa Arrizabalaga and Trevoh Chalobah.  Speaking in his post match briefing, per Football.London, Potter said of Kepa: “He contributed again. I think as a team, we defended quite well and gave everything – the running power was there. The area we can do better is when we have the ball and attack oursel

Two Chelsea players who should be a source of concern to Graham Potter after Man U clash.

Two Chelsea players are now a source of concern for Graham Potter's Blues following their dip in form in successive run of games played. Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella are two Chelsea stars whose recent performances should be a source of concern for Graham Potter. Both players were Thomas Tuchel's signings earlier this transfer window.  Raheem Sterling is now suffering a dip in form under Graham Potter despite a dizzying start to his Chelsea career. The £47million summer signing from Manchester City is now enduring a barren patch in front of goal and it is beginning to show in his performances. It coincides with a run where Chelsea are misfiring, failing to convert chances from open play against Manchester United in a 1-1 draw after a 0-0 away at Brentford in midweek. Thomas Tuchel had pushed for Sterling as his No1 transfer target this summer, agreeing to make him Chelsea’s best-paid player on £300,000-a-week, giving him dressing room leader status and promising to play hi

WATCH Trevoh Chalobah tremendous man-of-the match performance vs Manchester United that will leave him undroppable in the Chelsea squad

Trevoh Chalobah was very crucial to the Blues conceding just one goal against Manchester United.  The Blues ended up with just a point from their Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge against Man United, which is actually the most drawn fixture in the division’s history. Graham Potter’s side thought they had grabbed three points late on when Jorginho converted a penalty in the 87th minute. However, the visitors equalised in stoppage time with a Casemiro header that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was unfortunate not to claw out. It means Chelsea’s run of five consecutive games without conceding a goal finally came to an end. Chalobah started the game as the right-sided centre-half in a back three, but the change of system in the first-half saw the team shift to a back four. The Englishman partnered Thiago Silva in the back four and definitely gave Gareth Southgate another reminder of his quality.  Not only did his performance receive massive praise from Graham Potter, Chelsea Legend,
