 Cole Palmer is Manchester City's hottest and exciting talents.  It had been reported that an agreement has been reached with Manchester City over a deal for Palmer in the region of £45million. The west London outfit had seen an initial offer worth £35million for the 21-year-old turned down, with a second bid on Wednesday night agreed upon and a medical reported to be booked for Thursday. Palmer is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge as he searches for more consistent game time after receiving the nod in a handful of games for Pep Guardiola.  The veteran has revealed the motive behind his actions.  It appears that Thiago Silva has no interest in taking on captaincy duties at Chelsea after twice passing the armband on in recent clashes against West Ham and Luton.  Djordje Petrovic is the latest player to sign for Chelsea this summer. Galatasaray and Chelsea have reached an agreement over the free temporary transfer of Hakim Ziyech with a free purchase option next summer. Hakim Ziyech has FINALLY left Chelsea and joined Galatasaray on a loan.  The Chelsea coach has spoken out on his decision to make Reece James captain. Chelsea will be back in action against Liverpool on Sunday and head coach Mauricio Pochettino spoke on several issues affecting the squad.  One of such was his decision to make Reece James captain over Thiago Silva.  Earlier this week, Reece James was appointed captain of Chelsea Football Club, a decision that sparked numerous reactions from Chelsea fans. Thiago Silva was favourite in everyway to become Blues captain given his experience and excellent leadership qualities.  However, Mauricio Pochettino has clarified the issue.
